The British Invention Show takes place at Alexandra Palace in London from 14th- 17th October 2009.

A vision of the future
Inventions from around the globe are set to battle it out at the World Invention Awards & Exhibition in London. Entries already include a diverse array of unique ideas.
The three-and-a-half-day show, now in its ninth year, is run in association with the British Inventors Society and enjoys support from government partners including the IPO (Formely the UK patent office) and buisness link.
A panel of 18 judges from the British Inventor’s Society will put ecological and social benefits to mankind, as well as design, ingenuity and originality to the test, culminating in the presentation of the coveted British Invention, Innovation and Design of the Year Awards. The Inventor of the Year will be announced during the dinner awards at 10pm on Friday 16th October. For a list of categories please see FAQ's on homepage.
2nd Media Call - 16th October: The Inventor of the Year will be announced during the dinner award at 10pm. Information may be available earlier in the day.
TV and news crews please note that no trailing leads are permitted whilst general public are in the main exhibition hall. Filming outside public hours and special arrangements are possible.
Filming is permitted for the duration of the event. though access to the dinner awards will be restricted.
7pm- 11pm Alexandra Palace.
Pre-show - Many inventors are ready with their inventions and available now.
Inventions - A 25 word description of each exhibit, together with full contact details.
